Since you have already received a court summon from Discover bank, you should immediately visit the court and file a response to it in order to avoid the default judgment. After filing a response to the summon, you can contact the creditor and try to settle the debt outside the court.
ABC Debt Relief is not a good company. They have F rating with BBB. You can find more discussions on ABC Debt Relief if you visit the following links

Thanks did file response myself to summons and now unsure if I should contact the law group who sent it or wait for them to sch court date (or throw it on a pile since I sent a response) so you think I should contact them and attempt to settle with them vs go to court? I dont think they wanted to settle and they knew that debt relief co would not respond so I think they just thought they won by default. Suprise I finally got smart and responded. Please tell me why you think I should try to negoitate with the law firm? I think it may be a while before a court date would be set if ever thus buying me some time to save some $$$ to make an offer...

Yes, you should negotiate and try to settle the debt outside the court, because if the creditor succeed in bringing a judgment against you in the court, your credit score may get adversely affected due to this judgment. If they agree to settle the debt, get the agreement in writing before you start repaying.

I think I am traveling down that same road. I contacted ABC to assist me with my debt. They advised me that they would contact each creditor and negotiate my debt with the creditors directly. In return for this, I would pay a nominal fee, less than half of what I was paying out per month, and in return, they take their fees electronically from my checking account.
I continue to get 20-30 phone calls daily from Creditors, and now am receiving notices that they are going to be taking legal action against me. Thought that this was all over with.
I emailed ABC with my situation, but have yet to get a response.
Thinking this may have not been the right decision. Help !
You will find....
ABC will not do anything for you and next you will probably get a summons notice delivered at your door so be ready and dont think that ABC will assist with any of this and be ready to respond to the summons as to do nothing will allow the creditor or company to take possible action as you didnt respond. ABC took my money and when I realized they really only assist if you have all the cash to settle they basically do nothing. Dont let them take anymore of your $$$$.
