sent letters today... now waiting

So now do I just wait to see what happens? I put a credits only status on my bank account and then it will close on friday.
How does this work? Do the companies usually contact you? I put in 5 business days like the letter said. The PDLs are:
500fastcash
oneclickcash
fastandreliablecash
paydayyes
mycashnow
I went online and the only changes I see are from fastandreliable cash in which my loan status now says collections (which is such a joke since I already paid $1050 on a $500 loan) and from oneclickcash where it says my loan status cannot be accessed at this time.
Anybody have any dealings with these companies? Is it just a wait and see now? Thanks!

Your phone will be ringing soon, just remember no matter what they try to tell you they are NOT legal and can NOT sue you. I wouldn't even give them the time of day or the satisfaction of talking to them. Pay the principal amount only and if you already have then ignore them.

Thank you Shazzers. Yes, I paid well over the principal on all of them except payday yes (owe $49) and mycashnow (owe $269). I wrote in the letters to them that I would pay the remaining principal if they sent me a physical address. I will only talk to those 2 if/when they call. The others I will ignore. Thanks for the info!

You may or may not get hit with a barrage of phone calls. I had 5 although not the same ones as you and was really expecting the phone to ring off the hook like when you miss a credit card payment. My experience was'nt anything like that. A couple I have never heard from and its been about 2 1/2 months since I closed my account. The ones that do call are sporadic. One company called maybe 30 times in one day never left a message and since then maybe once every 2-3 days.

wow! i am floored. one of the PDLs (fastandreliablecash) did respond. I sent the letter via email yesterday morning and this afternoon I got a FedEx letter from them saying my account is PIF and gave me a refund check! I cannot even believe it. I was totally expecting this letter to be some kind of collections/legal document.
The letter to me says:
"While we may disagree with your interpretation of the law - as we are not located in the State of Connecticut and our loans are not written in the state we therefore, we do not have a Connecticut License. We are a licensed lender located in Delaware. However, in an effort to resolve this matter we intend to eliminate your remaining balance and issue a refund of all fees. Your deposit of said refund will constitute your acceptance of this resolution. Your account will then be considered closed and PAID IN FULL.
