I am in Texas and have taken out several payday loans in order to save my house (my mortgage). The payday loan fees take half of my check. Is there any company that will consolidate these so I can stop paying the high iterest fees and just make a repayment plan to these people? I am having a hard time keeping up with my other bills because of the fees.

Thanks for any help anybody can suggest.

it depends on what you want to do. You can go into a debt management program that works with pdl,not all of them do.,in which you send your money to them and they work with the pdl people to pay them off. (this is what i did, i used town and country acceptance)Or if you have good credit, you could get a personal loan from somewhere like citifinancial or capital one and pay them off that way and just have the one payment. or, if they are storefront, you can stop paying them, and stop payment on the checks you wrote them. when your checks come back, most pdl places will offer you options to pay off your loan over time.

Please list the names of the pdl's, whether they are store front or Internet, how much you paid so far, how much you borrowed. Something to keep in mind is; there are some lenders that are actually CSO's (Credit Service Organizations), this means they do not follow the payday loan laws. Click the link below to read your pdl laws.
