Debt collection on a Equity line loan

My husband ad I are selling our home in a short sale, the 1st mtg will be settled, the 2nd is an Equity line of $200k. I lost my job and am on unemployment, my husband is on disability pension and social security. In the state of Oregon can the bank garrnish my husbands disability pension? If so what percentage.

I don't think that disability pension can be garnished for payment of your HELOC. They can only be garnished for payment of Federal tax debt, student loans or alimony and child support obligations.
