Settle credit card while receiving an arbitration

I have a question. I haven't been awarded or summoned to go to court, however, I have received a Scheduling notice from the NAF. Can I still settle my debt before they award it to me?

Did you receive a notice from NAF entitled "Notice of Arbitratio
Did you receive a notice from NAF entitled "Notice of Arbitration"? If it is so, you should file a response to the claim within 30 days in writing. I think that you should settle the debt with the NAF as it would save you from the court process which may be costly for you.
