OK frist of all I wanna thank you guys for some awsome stuff I've read here while lurking as a guest.
I've registered now.
My question is.... I sent a DV letter to NCO Financial Systems yesterday, so what should I expect now. What if they do come up with all the info on the acct.
Thanks again for the help!

If NCO Financial validates your debt, you need to negotiate for a payment plan and pay off the debt. If your outstanding debt is high and you cannot afford to pay it off in full, you can also try to negotiate with your creditor to settle the debt for less.
However, if they do not validate the debt, you should not make any payment.

They need to send you verification that it is your debt, contract, statements, etc., and a breakdown of charges.

It's against the FDCPA for them to sue you before they provide the verification info (they are not allowed any collection activity until they validate).

Send it Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested so you have legal proof they received it, so if they *do* sue you before the verify it is your debt and they have the legal right to collect it, then you can countersue them for $1000 plus possible attorney costs and court fees.
