Monies paid...

I have had several PDLs that I had taken out (addressed in several other posts)... my question is this... the amount we have paid to these PDLs, they all had SOME amount paid to them, which subsequently took my account into negative status... the bank so kindly continued to cover the amounts until the account became about $1000 in the hole, then they stopped covering the amount and started returning the items to the creditors. Even though the money wasnt in the account and the bank covered it to the creditor, then I put money into the account to take care of the negative balance, does that count towards money paid to them? It sounds even dumber now that I type it out but I am gonna ask anyway...
Thanks everyone, you have no idea how much you have helped my sanity in all of this...

Ok... follow up time. I have gone back over my bank statements and looked at all of the debits from the accounts for the loans I had taken out. Below is what I have found. These are the debits where the money was actually taken out of the account or the bank covered the payment adn then I covered the negative balance :
Total Lending/Arrowhead Inv. - $345 on a $190 loan
Avantis - $720 on a $500 loan
CMG Group - $225 on a $250 loan
Pack Mngtmnt/B&L - $180 on a $200 loan
Centurion - $120 on a $200 loan
Ameriloan - $265 on a $500 loan
United Cash Loans - $200 on a $200 loan
So, I have a bit left to pay for the principal on some of these, but most are still trying to get more than that.
Loan Shop Online is trying to get me to "settle" for $275 on a $200 loan (after the original amount was supposedly $410)...
Ameriloan and United Cash Loans are both sending me emails saying that I owe them both $810 when neither loan was for that much to begin with... love that stuff... Bank STILL wont close account, just put hold on it so nothing can be debited, better than nothing I guess... Slowly but surely...

My biggest battle has been telling these scammers that the money they have taken from me in their $50 and $60 increments goes towards the principal balance... they ALL argue that point...lol

Well, let them waste their breath and try to argue with you, and please don't let them get to you, that's their goal, to alarm you!

Ok, so I think things are coming together. I am still getting calls from United Cash Loans and Ameriloan and Loan SHop Online. Loan SHop Online is the only one who hasnt received any payments yet, as I am trying to get up to speed so I can pay them something, even though they say I owe them $560 on a $200 loan and HAVE to pay them via ACH or Money Gram... I have tried explaining to them I am only paying the principal amount, but they never seem to want ot do anything but argue and cuss...
Sooo... my next question is, is there a form letter to use to send to these companies stating that the principal amount is the amount owed and not all the crazy fees, etc.? Thanks for any help in advance eveyone! Im feeling better about this and have gotten a lot of them taken care of (some of them even were nice about it!)
