Adam Rubenstein is a liar, and takes advantage of his staff.....his word is nothing....he manipulates to his advantage , and only cares about himself.... Rubenstein, Madoff same type of person, same beliefs...

I read a lot of comments and like I - most people are very wary - and for good reason. Some comments sound unneccessarily nasty. The one positive reply sounded more like advertising. My question: Does anyone have a real life experience with these people?
You sound like a politician

Your right Im not in debt, and I would NEVER fall prey to you CROOKS that tell people that debt settlement works. With the housing values down, most people WOULD BE BETTER OFF if they are having a hard time paying their bills to do a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. With the new banking rules, doing debt settlement is going to ruin your credit for the approx. the same amount of time that a Chapter 7 will. Your pitch is "oh let me make you aware of what is going on in the debt business". You have a crystal ball?...You lead your prospects like all salespeople to what is BEST FOR YOU and PUT MONEY IN YOUR POCKET. And punk, you want to call me out, and tell me Im going to fall make sure NOT TO HIDE behind this blog. Put your name out there, so that we can meet in person and settle our differences like men, not computer geeks.

Has anyone checked with their own bank(s) to ask about National Debt Services? I am just wondering whether the lenders can weigh in on the legitimacy or usefulness of this particular service.

Lenders do not publicly endorse any such service. Why would they? They received stimulus money to as an incentive to not file for wage garnishments, etc against people that are having difficulty retaining an "on-time" status w/ their credit cards. They would much rather the individual continue to pay at high interest and finance charges, but this is considerably better than a bankruptcy.

Really? What proof do you have to substantiate that claim?

The word "National" has nothing to do with Government, it means they are nation wide. Do you know what the word "dictionary" means?

You know what's funny?...You get scammed every single day by your credit card card companies when they continuously raise your rates and payments without warning, but you bend over and take it!! Ha! I find it hilarious that people who spend Bank of America, Capital One & Discover's $$ so irresponsibly have the balls to say what is and is not a scam! You're all stupid and irresponsible with money that DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!!! Try this on for size...if you can't afford it, then you cant have it! Use a debit card morons!

Are not a collection agency what i can tell you is this they have settled some of my account and have kept me out of the coutrs they have arranged settlements to be paid over months time. They pushed off fees to make a settlement on my bank of america they even lent me almost $1000 ( no interest ) to make a settlement because i was short in my escrow fund and coud not come up with the money. How many other places would pay a protion of the settlment to help a stranger? They took the loan back over the next 2 payemnts made. Shame on you guys for lying on here. Or perhaps you have them confused with another company god knows there are a million of them but it seems like you are more into lying |

someone called me today from this company and because I said we were not interested, he asked why I was being rude and could I understand english. He was the one with the accent, not me. I was born and raised here in American. I told him we are not interested and he was calling my number not me calling him, then he called me a b---- and repeated it. I have been in customer service all of my life and can not believe this person is making calls for business.
National Debt Service
Just to clarify, National Debt Services and National Debt Service are not the same company. One is a collection agency and the other is involved in debt settlement. See here: nationaldebtservice [dot] com
