C&D letters not working

i have sent many many C&D Letters to United Cash Loans and 500 Fast cash and they still persist in calling me at my office. I have overpaid them more than what i borrowed and they still say i owe them alot of money. I tell them everytime i speak with them NOT to call me at the office, and i hang up. They still persist and call almost every other day. What else can i do?

Since UCL and 500FC are original creditors, they are not bound by a C&D per the FDCPA. You might have state law that will bind them, however. File complaints with the FTC, FCC, OK AG and your states AG.

Neither of those lenders are legal, therefore they won't abide by any laws, they didn't to begin with. The best you can do is hang up on them immediately, they will tire of talking to thin air eventually. Don't give them a reason to call you by arguing with them.
