I have 5 storefront payday loans, and I am just to the point where I can't do it anymore. My paychecks are always gone before I get them. I am wondering, if I put a stop pay on the checks and then just let them (loan companies) try to cash the checks, can they do anything to me, i.e. overdraft my account, etc. or would I be better off continuing to look for a consolidation loan or bankruptcy?? I'm not just trying to get out of paying them, I just simply can't afford to pay them anymore. My other bills-lites, etc. are suffering because of these loans and I'm just tired of being broke all the time. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

what state are you in?you can try to get an EPP on these.they would break the loan into four equal payments, and the balance would be frozen.see the manager for this.

EPP=extended payment plan.if they are CFSA members they have to honor it if you request it.you must go in before the next payment is due to invoke it.
