Payment Plan w/ Collection Agency

I have been paying Zwicker & Associates $50 a month for my Capital One account that has an outstanding balance of $2040. I have contacted them to request a letter stating that I am paying $50 monthly. I need the letter for a parent plus loan. They will not give it to me and said that I need to pay more each month. They said my payment plan was subject to review but they never contacted me about this. $50 is all I can afford but they are saying I need to pay more.

Since you have started paying the collection account. Send them a letter disputing the amount owed on the debt and a letter to the credit agency that they are reporting too. In trun make sure they show that you are disputing the debt. If not that is a FCRA violation. Good Luck!!!
