I've found different answers while trying to research this...for credit card debt in Arizona, is it considered a written or oral contract? What is the Statute of Limitations in AZ...I was recently served for a debt that has been over three years since paid, and the oral limitations are 3 years where the written is 6...what does AZ consider cc contracts?

The Statute of Limitation is 6 years for written contract and 3 years for oral agreements and open ended accounts. Since credit card debt falls under open ended account, SOL for cc debt would be 3 years.

I am trying to figure all of this out and learn the lingo and prper procedures. So a credit card that has been charged off for more than 3 years is out of SOL and does not have to be paid back?
