hellp, I live in washington state and recently had a creditor try and garnish my checking account for 100 which I didnt have. I am wondering since they have a judgement against me, are they allowed to take any money that I receive from finincial aid? I will soon be receiving either a check or electronic transfer of funds from school but obviolusly cant afford for them to take all of my money. Are they only allowed to take the 100 or can they try and go after the whole amount I owe? thanks

If they have a judgement against you, your financial aid money is fair game. They can take whatever is there.
