dunning letter and time

I got a call from a CA. I requested written dunning letter. They said they mailed it and gave an address....not my address. So, I gave them right address and they mailed me a letter 2 weeks ago. When can they contact me by phone again regarding this? I have just now gotten my debt validation letter finished and ready to send via USPS return reciept. I just got another call from them this morning telling me that I had to call them back today!

Until they receive the DV letter from you, they can continue to call. Once they receive the DV and until they validate, they cannot continue collection activities/calling.
