I have recieved a few phone called from the above mentioned collection agency. I stated to them I have not received any notice, as I work at collection agency myself, I understand they hear all day long that the debtor didnt get the notice, but in the case I truelly didnt. I offered them to send it certified mail, I will even pay for it, all I need is verification of this debt, they refused. I have called and tried to speak to them, they over talk me every instance they get. I asked for 1 minute, my wife watched as 9 seconds into me speaking, they over talk me and then hung. And that has been going on through a few calls. So the last call, I got all their information, asked for their client's toll free number, which was wrong. I am fed up with them, I just filed a BBB complaint and will start their.
I can understand an agency having bad collectors that are just plain rude, but the supervisor was worse.

If they keep talking over you and refusing to provide proof, then do it in a way they can't talk over you. Send them a debt validation letter certified mail return receipt. By law they HAVE to validate if they want to keep collecting, or to even keep it on your credit report for that matter.
