Update on my Chase Settlement Journey

Hi, my card is now about 45 days past due. The balance is around $24,700.
Chase calls me every 4-5 days. They are fairly easy to talk to. If you don't talk to them, then the automated system will call you every hour all day until you do talk to them.
They are now offering an 80% settlement (or 20% off of the balance, which is around $4900 off the balance). It's kinda funny, because just four days ago they would not offer any settlement at all.
I said " No Thanks" I will just wait until you meet my terms of 30-35%.
Good luck to others in their debt settlement. This is my last card to settle, and I can't wait until it is paid off!
I will keep everybody updated every few weeks on the progress.

Yes, I settled one other card. a bank of America (FIA Card Services). It was about 60 days past due, and I settled for 27% of the balance. Good luck to you.
