Who are these people that keep calling from the "law office"? I get so many different names and phone numbers. I called them yesterday and asked for the person who left me the message six times and when the lady answered, she didn't know anyone by the name of Paul Walker, then she got snippy with me and told me to hold on. I heard her ask "who is Paul Walker today". he got on the phone and we battled about him calling me at work, repeatidly and at home. I told him not to call me anymore to send any communication via email. Then, when questioning him, it got to the point where he didn't know what to say. I asked him for his mailing address and he had to think about it. When I looked up the address, it didn't even exit. The number he gave me yesterday was 818-451-4028. I asked him to speak to his supervisor. He got on the phone and I asked him to validate my debt and he said I have no right to see anything, just to appear in court. I ended up hanging up him. So, I get another call today at work. They called my cell five times and my work four leaving another number of 951-643-4384. I ended up talking to him. He told me again that it was Paul Walker calling. I told him that He is not permitted to call me and that I told him that yesterday. He told me he never ever spoke to me before. After battleing with him, I told him that his call was being recorded and he hung on him! Who are these people?

Have you tried googleing thier numbers?-thats what I always do when I get a strange number. Also you can search it in the box on the top right of this page. They definetly sound illegal. The best thing to do is just stay off the phone with them-if you can manage that. When they know they can get you and talk with you I think that makes them call even more because they know they have you. If you just quit answering the phone they will eventually give up. By law they have to send you a dunning letter within 5 days of thier first contact with you. So if they have'nt done that they probably are'nt licensed and personally I would ignore them.

Thank you. They are drivnig me crazy. What gets me is they won't even tell what Pay Day Loan they are representing. They just tell me they are the "law office" and the Federal Legislation of unsecured Loans is sueing me. I told him to quite calling me that I knew they were calling me from India. But like I said, once I told him the call was being recorded, he hung up on me.

Something to remember when we (yes I am talking to myself too) filled out these forms with all our info is its not secure. These illegal pdls share info, plus those lead generation places are the worst. Anyone can buy that info, so some scamming place in India that does'nt have anything to do with your pdl can buy that info and call you up and they have all your info name. address, ss#, employment info, checking acct # etc and we think they are legit so pay them. And thats exactly what they are hoping for.
