My name is BG and I am the lead analyst in the financial coach team. I checked your file in the system and see the payment to Blatt,HasenMiller,Leibsker and Moore LLC has already been sent for the Household bank account. I will find out more information from our payments dept. pertaining to your file. You also have the settlement offer from the collection agency which clearly mentions that the law suit will be dismissed if the two installments are paid on time, and this has already been done.

It seems like the collection agency is trying to blow hot air. I will ask your client relationship manager, Steve Green to give you a courtesy call and update you with the status of your file. We will also call the collection agency and verify the details. Please don't be worried. Everything will be ok.

Thank You for the quick response. I think very highly of Oak View and I wasn't upset with them. I know they will do great things for me. I am upset and frustrated with this Blatt law firm because I think they are trying to get paid twice while also lying because when I logged on the the court database today it showed they did enter the judgment.

He was talking about you and said that you are a very nice person. :) He assured me that he will call you first thing in the morning and talk to the collection agency. Don't be worried. Here's an update regarding the account. We talked with the collection agency and discussed about your case. They will not make any more collection calls and will be sending the "Satisfaction of Judgment" form within 20 - 30 business days. They can send the form directly to your mailing address for submittal to the court or they can file it directly with the court. If they don???t sent you the form, then tell them that you will take appropriate legal actions as allowed by state law.

Let us know if you face any problems from that company.

I have no idea what is going on with this Blatt law firm. Today my employer received wage garnishment information. First off, I still have never received any Judgment order from the court. Secondly, I never once seen any order saying they could garnish my wages. Thirdly, This account was settled and paid before they even entered the judgment. So I speak to the administrator at my employer and she proceeds to tell me she has to fill out interrogatories about the garnishment. I don't understand how they can garnish my wages when they have already been paid and not only that they have been paid more then what was originally stated in the settlement letter they sent to Oak View. They then say they are going to send me a letter stating it was paid in full, but instead the day after they must have spoken to Oak View, They sent a subpoena to my employer to have my wages garnished. How is it legal for them to garnish my wages when they have already gotten all the money plus more from the judgment that I have never even seen? I think this place is practicing unethically and illegally. I really don't know what to do now. God I hope all my accounts aren't going to do this same illegal conduct. Now I am also being written up due to this because they can't have employees making this place look bad so I could lose my job over this. And my employer shouldn't have even been involved in this because I sent the money in way before they even filed judgment or garnishment. I can't afford to pay any more lawyers to handle this for me and I can't afford to pay this account again. I hope someone has some advice on what they think I should do in this situation. Ugh.....

What a great birthday today is for me. I find out I'm getting my wages garnished on a bill I've already paid and I could possible lose my job. Yay Me.

This collection agency is trying to do something fraudulent here. Don???t assume that the judgment is valid just because you need to. If this collection agency is trying to sue you, there are many technicalities to void this judgment by bringing whatever evidence you have at your end and show it to the judge. This type of collection agency is famous for violating the FDCPA so pay close attention to how things were handled.

They are obviously trying to do something fraudulent. I tried to settle with them before having this put on my credit and now they are saying one thing and doing another by filing this with the court and publically humiliating me at my place of employment. Once this has been taking care of I plan on turning every since one of their attornies to the ARDC and filing a complaint with the attorney general. They can't just be allowed to unethically and illegally practice what they call law. So as soon as I see that letter of "Satisfaction of Judgment". I am going to send that along with the settlement letter they sent along with my complaint I am filing to show the attorney general and Supreme Court of Illinois how this firm is operating.

I know it isn't a lot of money, but I still can't afford to be paying them twice for an account that was more than doubled according to them since the last payment. This law firm needs to be turned in for their actions. I don't know exactly what I am going to have to do because there isn't any hearing date for this wage garnishment in the court records but I want to make sure there is so that I can show the judge all of the evidence of this account being paid and the fact of them filing the judgment after they said in the settlement letter they were dismissing the case. Someone somewhere is practicing illegally and the Judge should be informed.
