Does anybody know of any attorneys in alabama that offer free bk assistance? i know that the first meeting is free with most lawyers but i was wondering if there are any free resurces out there. everytimei do an internet search it just comes back with attorneys who do free consultations. any help or info would be appriciated!!thanx!

You can try legal aid in your county. I know that where I live in Florida, there is an income based legal service that offers help. You could also try going to a bk preparer, which is a paralegal. They are not allowed to advise you, but they will fill out the paperwork and make sure it is compliant. There is one here that will do it for abut $300.

As for Mark Tow, he is in Southern California, and would probaby not be able to help in Alabama. I see a lot of comments here referring people to him. It almost looks like an employee trying to get free advertising.
