I was wondering if Payday One is a member of the CFSA because i can't afford to pay my whole loan and need to make some payment arrangements? If not, will they work with me?

It does not appear that Payday One is a memeber of the CFSA, usually if they are a member they have the CFSA logo on their website.

They do have this on their site under FAQs:

What happens if I do not make a payment on my payday loan by the due date?
For your convenience, your payments will be electronically debited from your checking account unless you make alternate payment arrangements. If you are unable to make the payment on your due date, please contact Customer Support. In some cases Customer Support can offer a repayment plan that gives you additional flexibility in paying back the loan.

I had PayDayOne and they would not work with me at all before I defaulted. After I defaulted they set up 6 equal bi-weekly payments. They said that was the best they could offer. It was my biggest loan and so the payments were quite large. I made a couple and then could'nt afford to do that anymore. Thats just been my experience, yours may be different.

I had a real problem with PayDayMax. I took out a $200 online loan. They tried to charge me more interest than was agreed to in my contract. When I called them about the matter they got really nasty with me over the phone. I got tired of arguing with them and told them I would just call the BBB and file a complaint with FTC.

The next day I went to the PayDayMax website for all my account details before making the call to the BBB.........and my account was marked "Paid In Full". My original loan was for $200.00 and I had made 2 payments of $100.00 each BUT there was supposed to still be a balance for the interest rate and rollover fees.

Revel in your success, they are NASTY NASTY and as illegal as the day is long. If I were you, I would take a screen shot of your account on their website and keep it, just in case! They have been known to mark accounts a PIF, then sell it to a collection agency at a later date! Just be mighty careful with them!

Fatcat-so far nothing has happened with PayDayOne. I told them when they first set up the payments that they were too steep and I did'nt think I would be able to keep up with them and asked to have it spread out perhaps over 8 payments and they would'nt do it. So when I reached the point of not being able to pay anymore I let them know and asked it they would rework the payment plan to something like $50 every 2 weeks and they would'nt do it-so I said I fully intended to pay them and would send what I could. I have'nt paid them now in a month-just have'nt had the cash-cuz stupid me had my storefronts almost paid off and then maxed them out making these payments to the internet pdl duh! So my #1 priority right now is any extra is going on my storefronts. Anyway they call me a couple times a week but I never answer cause I don't really have anything to tell them. There is another lady that posts sometimes and she is doing the same thing- could'nt afford the payments they offered her so sends what she can. I am scared to check my credit reports though. They are not on experian but I have'nt checked the other 2.

As far as PayDayMax keep an eye on them. They marked me as PIF on my account same as you, then about a week later I logged in to check again and the PIF was gone and showed me owing. About a week later they blocked my access.

They let me spread my principal plus interest amount over 6 payments. I told them I'm going to be sending it via Western Union or Money Gram because I don't want to give out my new bank info. She said that's fine, she even moved my payment date back a few days to allow my Western union or money gram payments to clear because she said sometimes it takes a few days to clear.

She also sent me my payment arrangements via email with the Western Union and Money Gram info in case I chose to do so. The email also gave me the address in case i wanted to mail in a money order which is what I might do because their isa a fee for Money Gram and Western Union. Does anyone know what that fee is?
