Served lawsuit by Citi (Hunt & Henriquez - H&H) Crap! Now what?

I've sent in requests to settle @ 40% (May) & 50% (two weeks ago) and they've responded w/a lawsuit. *great*
So now what are my options?
I owe several other creditors a lot of money (default on 4 other accounts) and don't have much money of my own (settlement money was going to come from family loan... yeah, I mentioned this in my letter to H&H though said it was too limited to pay @ their proposed 70% level and pay everyone else too).

We are coming up to the end of the month and collectors have to meet their goals. Try calling to get a settlement...it can be much more effective. They can fax a settlement offer.

They are sueing me as of July 2009 for my Sears bill which was late early in 2009. But for over one year now I have been paying from my online banking to sears at the address on my sears bill. And Sears has been accepting my payments. I get into the searscard.com website to check that payments have been made and what next payment is. My credit report shows that this account is OK. It is closed however, but payments are being made.
I called that court that supposedly has my case and they say I still need to show up. I don't know how Hunt and Henriques can still sue me if I am making ontime payments to sears and have an online account with them that is current. Anyone have any advice? What should I take with me to court besides copies of my online payments.
