They also state that they do not accept payments from Town and Country but they have been cashing the checks. They have threaten to rip up my money orders. They are tacking on more and more interest daily and I plan to send them a certified letter tomorrow telling them they are not licensed in PA. Any help would be so appreciated. I really never want to talk to them again
Thank you

If you are paying Town and Country to deal with them for you what do they reccommend you do?
Have you closed your checking account so they can't get to your money anymore? If so then send them a letter letting them know that you know they are an illegal lender. Do you owe them anything on the principal? If so let them know in the letter you are willing to send that in a money order as soon as they provide an email address. Period. Then stop answering the phone and talking with them and they will go away. If they don't provide a mailing address and say they will tear up your MO then I guess they don't want your money to bad. Quit talking to them. The more you talk to them the more they are going to harrass you.
If they are cashing Town and Countrys checks then there is no reason for you to be talking with them. I guess I don't understand why you are talking with them on the phone?

They call me at least 5 times a day. Town and Country are helping me but these guys don't accept the settlement from T and C but they cash the checks. I have closed the account a year ago and they do not have any access to my new checking account.
They harrass me and I really am just trying to shut them up. I have to say One Click and Cashnet USA's collection agency are the worst.
I am going to send them the letter about being illegal in my state on Monday AM registered mail.
Minus the fee's and what I have paid them I am down to owing them $221 on the principal. The faster I get rid of them the better.

This is one of the problems when paying a company who is supposed to be dealing with your creditors. The chances of an illegal lender cooperating is slim to none. They didn't follow the law to begin with, why would they be willing to negotiate. All you can do is ignore the calls, arguing with them or answering their calls will only fuel the fire. Don't give them a reason to call back by even acknowledging they exist. They will eventually tire of calling.
