I have 2 store front PDL's in Nevada
1st=Money Tree for $763.08,
2nd=Check City for $928.00.

I have been in them for over 7+ months (pay every payday the intrest only) =
MT=$108.00 & CC= $128.00 for a total of $472.00 each month of intrest, then every 4th payday they make me payoff and reopen just to pay rent,utilities, food etc...
I contacted- "PDL Assistance" and was informed, $200.00 upfront and (hopfully) $144.00 per payday there after for 13 more payday payments best case if both PDL CO's will agree with them and even if they do after how long of a wait out,
after reading the forums here (thanks to all for help/insight) I believe I am going to cancel with PDL Assist, as I can still do (no money changed hands yet and still in the 3 business day claus) and go to check in with both of the store front PDL co's and see if they will work with me to settle for a payment/payoff plan,

I started the payday loans after crushing 2 lower disc's at work and needing $$$ for bills as I can't work a full week anymore, and if I listen to doc's and go on disability I will only receive 2/3 of my normal pay, and I can make that with less hours at work and feel better for it (strong beliver a man has to work if he can), and am still trying to get used to a budget making several hundred less per month because of it with a wife and 3 kids, but am unable to keep up the intrest fees more and more as time goes by not to mention the loan amount princibles.

I have went to the bank (Bank of America Nevada Branch) and explained Im going to try and work out a payment plan with the 2 loan co's on my own but could not afford a repayment plan if the PDL co's will also try to deposit and get NSF charges, the bank manager had me close my account and reopen a new one right then and there, saying BofA did not do ACH holds or stops unless it was for fraud/criminal attempts, and that you cant get charges on a closed acct for NSF or have it reopened for a check to clear, after reading several posts,and reading the horror stories, Im intrested in others advise on my thinking....

1,
Close bank acct, open new one with same bank (already did per bank instructions)

and 2,
Talking with the 2 payday loan co. face to face 1 week prior to next payment being due to try and work out a payment plan with them for total repayment (insuring them I have no intent on skipping out on my debt but cant continue the way it is going with out going under fast)

If anyone out there has any experience/advice on this I would Greatly appreciate it as well as any advice on what im thinking is worth its salt or not?

That sounds good! MoneyTree is a member of CFSA so they should be able to offer you an EPP if you can afford that. It does'nt look like CheckCity is a member but I would still think they would have some type of payment plan available for hardships. Its amazing how many of us are in this pdl mess due to medical bills. We're here because of the resulting debt of an accident DH (not his fault) was in a couple of years ago & could'nt work with no pay for almost a year & so many have similar stories.

Well the good:
Both Money Tree, & Check City have agreed to accept a loan repayment plan. Also Both allowing me to not start the payment process for 2 more paydays.

the not so bad:
Money Tree is setting me up with a 6 payday repayment plan of $127.18 with no more intrest for a total of the $763.08

The bad :
(or slightly not as convenient as I would have hoped)
Check city is only willing to do a 4 payday repayment plan of $227.43 for the total of 909.71

So long story short... YARD sale time, have 30 days to hunt and gather the totals, no way I can do $354.61 each payday, just received notice from Doc that my working hours are going to be cut more to 10-12 hours per week max untill I get news from a sergical consolation now :cry:

Both Co's were very sympathatic (I took in all my Doc papers)
I sure hope everyone else here will have as good a turn out as I have. I would like to believe that going in face to face, and being totally honest with them about my situation/reasons for problems helped me out.

P.S. I have received 15 calls from "PDL Assistance" aggressively questioning my cancelation of there service - 12 went to voice mail :P
