Hello. I have lost my case and (major bank) has won a judgement against me. In New York, how long will it take for them to do something with it? Are they going to approach me initially with a pay in full notice? What will they go after first Bank Accts? Wages? Personal Property?

Thanks in advance

As far as I know, after the creditor gets judgment against you, he has to obtain a writ of garnishment from the clerk's office in the court. The creditor may either garnish your bank account or your wage to recover the debt. You may or may not be informed by the creditor that you wages/bank account are to be garnished.
