my overdraft account

My account was closed recently and I did try to communicate w/bank prior to in how I could pay this off, they told me I had to pay it in full. my overdrawn account was sent to collections and I got a call from a very, very rude woman whose only payment arrangments were hers. I did open an account with another bank, will this affect my other account in anyway?

It should not. If there was a problem, it would have shown up when you opened the account. Most banks run your driver's license through a check verification system and look for previous account problems. I would not worry about the new account.
