Northland Credit Card Collection

I owed WAMU a balance of approx. $4800 for a CC. I tried to enroll in a debt mgmt. program a year ago and WAMU replied they did not participate with the program. I've had many personal and financial struggles that kept me from paying the debt. Now I make $23K per year and have only $200 surplus each month after living expenses. Northland is the debt collector but I have read horrible stories about them. Where is a good place for me to start as I can only offer about $20.00 per month?

No CA is going will set up a payment plan at $20/month...it wont even cover the interest. I know several collectors at northland and they are not unreasonable...but $20 per month isnt worth the effort for them. Have you looked for a part time job to increase your income??
