According to their website, Transcom does a lot of different things, but two of the things they do are debt collection and debt purchasing, so chances are good that they are calling you trying to collect a debt.

Did you find a phone number for them somewhere? The number of 816-423-2799 does not seem to match up to anything.

I own a business and they have called twice to "confirm" my add in the yellow pages. They continue to tell you that you can do it over the phone with voice prompts, but they are talking over the recording so you dont hear about how you are going to be charged. As soon as you ask too many questions, they hang up. Dont let these crooks fool you.

Transcom Inc calls me every day from that same number (816-423-2799). Why are they hanging up when I answer? Then, when I call back that number from my caller ID, it says that it is not a working number.

They just called me from this # and was not "in service" when I called back.

They have been calling me for weeks and when I answer I get what sounds like another phone # is being dialed. The 816 is a KC, MO # which is my local but when I call it back I get "This # is not in service" message.

I just received a call from this number. It was a scam. They told me I had won $155,000 and a new car. All I had to do was go buy a $250 money card from CVS and give them the 14 digit number on the card.

I have been getting calls from this company, they are probably debt collectors calling the people that used to have my number. They don't leave a message and when I answer, they hang up.

Transcom appears to be a collection agency.

Add your phone number to the National Do-not-call list. If they continue to call file a formal complaint.

they are a collection company. they are very rude people. Tell them if they don't stop call you they will get a phone call rom your lawyer.

I recently received a call from these low lifes. Any info to help me catch these pucks would be appreciated.

I work there and yes - we collect - if you owe money then answer your phone - if you don't want a call - pay your freakin bills - its very simple you self entitled people complaining about getting collection calls - GAWD - pay your dam bills

They keep calling me telling me I am getting 1.5 million dollars. Told him I don't want it. Hung up and he called me right back and asked why I hung up on him? Argued with me, etc. Big surprise though.....I don't owe anyone any money and do not have bill collectors calling me. We have always paid out bills on time and therefore your reply is wrong! We are not deadbeats who don't pay our bills. I am filing complaints already against this co. as my name is on the MO no call list and also the Federal no call list. Me thinks someone might be in trouble now. Hope they take you to the cleaners. Just wish I got some of the money the collect from your company. You won't get anything from me because we have always had # 1 credit ratings. Score is 860? What is yours jerk? :twisted:
