Confirmation of payment

I was told by a very nasty representative that I would receive a confirmation fax on a settlement matter and have still to receive the fax. He was given an electronic check at his belligerant demand and I did so just to be rid of him. If I do not receive the fax by morning, I will stop payment on this check. If this is the way your company treats people who are trying to set a debt matter straight, then by all means take me to court.
