I'm discussing settlement with CI and the guy that I'm dealing with insist that he cannot go lower than 35% of the bal. My debt is $44K. I will be offering $13,500 this Friday and see what happens. If we do agree on a settlement, I will request a settlement letter on BofA letterhead before I send them any cash.
