Is this a 3rd party collection agency? When I called, they answered the phone "card services" but didnt mention bofa.
I just dont want to give any of my information to something fraudulent.

Well, I couldn't find anything on internet that can associate BoA with the number. And "Card Service' seems to be a separate entity and not linked with BoA. Confusing...hmmmm

well, I called the number. They asked for my name, and asked me

I told them I was unable to make any payments at this time (due to being on Unemployment), but that I am hoping to borrow some money from a family member next month.
Hopefully, they will wait until then before they "charge off".

Credit card companies will usually do a charge off between 120 and 180 days. If I were you I would stay in constant communication with them to ensure they are aware of your repayment plan.

Exactly as said above this post, the more in contact with them you are the longer they will wait on a charge-off and be willing to assist with helping you repay via some means.
