North Carolina SOL?

Anyone know what the SOL are for credit cards? I've heard here it is 3 years from last payment.

Thanks for the reply. This kind of explains why all of a suden within the last few months, the phone calls and letters came to an end. A friend of mine had some debt issues a few years back and it has haunted him relentlessly until the last few months. I'm sure a few CA's will continue to try. Our states Attorney Gen. has a passion for making the CA's lives miserable. Especially 3rd party CA's who deal in junk debt.

Just because the SOL has passed, does not make the debt uncollectible. I am sure that it will be heard from again. However, in a legal action you have the affirmative defense of SOL. Motion for dismissal with no recourse by the CA.
