I too have started getting harrassing calls from this company about a payday loan that I do NOT have any documentation of yet this VCS company has my bank account information.

After receiving several calls at work I called them back to ask them nicely to remove my work phone number from their records. Calling my cell phone is fine but not my work phone #. This Sarah Stone in the Arbitration dept. said that she couldn't remove the phone number but 1.) I had committed fraud by going online and applying for a payday loan 2.) having a withdrawal from my bank account return to them, therefore being like actually writing a check and having it returned to them as NSF 3.) I had until Aug. 31st to pay $730 in full 4.) my state's attorney's office would be contacting me regarding a lawsuit they were bringing against me. Oh wait she said that it's pending. Oh and she stated that she was going to send documentation to my employer for garnishment.

When I told her that she needed to quit calling me at work or else I would lose my job she said to me....'I don't care if you lose your job or not lady.' So I hung up on her to only have her call me back AT WORK and say to me, although she didn't know it was me because I'm the receptionist but this is what she said and I quote....'tell Ms. _________ that an arbitration will be brought up against her and that paperwork will be forthcoming.' Then she hung up.

Thanks for the Info! I thought signing up with PDL would take care of this, however I am still recieving multiple phone calls each day. PDL's advise to me was to get their address and Fax number and send them a letter stating they couldn't contact employers or try wage assignment!! I'll try and pray it works! Thanks again!

use the address in the post above yours,and send a DV letter.send it certified mail return receipt.this sounds like a humanoid haven.i see at two FDCPA violations.

1)threatening garnishment when they need a court order
2)saying you commited fraud in any form,but especially on an ACH debit consent.

send the letter,and sue if they contact you again as they cannot continue collection activity until they validate.send the letter asap.

Are all these allegations about all these debt councelling or debt relief agencies that are supposed to assist people to get out of debt, instead sinkin people further into debt true cause i am trying to get my self straight now i am confused.

VCS is a humanoid collection agency that from these posts violates the FDCPA,and should be sued out of business.don't know where it came up that they are a debt relief company.

I received 2 messages on my cell phone and I was going to call them back however before I got a chance to they had also gotten my sister's cell phone number and left a message with her. I called them back only to have 2 out of 3 people threaten and yell at me. The last person I talked to said he was John Strauss' associate and said I had to pay 700 in order to not have charges brought upon me. I was trying to make feasable arrangements for myself and explaining to him I am a single mom and he told me that I needed to take my vehicle payment and pay them that because they were going to suspend my license and then come after me with intent to defraud a financial institution because they were saying I closed my bank account without paying them. I was very confused and scared then called the original place and they told me not to give them any information or money. I will now be sending them a letter requesting validation and that any future contact be handled through the mail.

If you want to kick his ass hard, get his home address and send the fucker threatening letters of your own from YOUR lawyer. If anyone has access to the MLS in that part of New York, Niagara County and North Tonawanda, New York, you can look up home owners by name or corporation not just addresses. Note that it is probably a violation of the Realtor code so be very discreet if you post it. Even if he has his name removed from the tax record, most of the time it still shows up on the MLS site. Give him some of what he has been giving to you!

a friendly suggestion, why don't you try contacting the NYS attorney generals office? is see on their website that they have been taking out many nys debt collection agencies , one by one. especially the bad ones. you should file a report with them, if you feel they are violating the law in any way. I'm sure the owner Jamie would love to personally address your complaint. I'm sure he is very concerned with complying with the law. he'd hate to be next.......boohaahaahahhhaa..........coming for ya buddy......:twisted:
