If someone gets a CCJ against you deliberately using a wrong address until enforcement so you have no chance to defend the action, can criminal charges be brought against them?


You can get the judgment vacated if you think that the plaintiff purposefully had used wrong address to get it. You need to check with the civil procedure of your state to file the vacate judgment motion.

Now, if the judgment has been obtained from the small claims court; you would need to collect and fill-out the 'Notice of Motion to Vacate Judgment' form with the court clerk.
