How do you find out what the SOL is for a debt? I have 3 very old credit cards that have been in collections for over a year and a half. I neve rhear from 2 of the companies and the third calls every once in a while. Why aren't the all bugging me incessantly? Is this normal? They are pretty large amounts.

You have 4 years before the debts are SOL. Chances are the companies are just adding interest in and will eventually throw it to a lawyer to handle. I am shocked they are leaving you alone right now but everyone seems to luck up from time to time on CA's not being too overly pushy.
