I keep getting calls from places posing as "legal investigtors", "federal investigators", "united investigators" and I know there are more names they use. It's the same script every time......."this message is intended for (first & last name). THe very second you receive this message you or your retained attorney of record must call us. My name is (name is different everytime they call) and you can reach me at my hotline (phone number, it's always different). Now (name), this is a very time sensitive matter. If we don't hear from you or your retained attorney, all we can do is wish you luck as this unfolds on you. May God help you & good luck". The caller ID numbers are sometimes international, other states or not a complete number. I have filed complaints with the FTC. I keep adding on to the complaint. These people speak very bad English and can never pronounce my name. I have spoken with them several times when they call me at work and have me paged. I argue with them not to call me but they continue to do so. They told my co-workers why they were calling, telling them it was a legal matter. I question them, trying to get the creditor, their address, etc. and they won't give me anything. How do I get them to stop. I know they are illegal.

I bet they have an Indian accent as well. It is a scam. They are trying to scare you into giving them money. I would not even talk to them. Tell you coworkers that you are not going to talk to them. Tell them not to talk to them either. Take a message, and hang up. They are persistent, but they will go away when they realize that they are not going to get anything from you. They have to produce results, and if you are a nonproductive contact, then they will go to someone else.
