I had a judgment placed on me a year ago. Long story short I never showed up to the court date because I thought it was a scam from a collection agency. The debt was 10 years old and had long passed the SOL. How can I know fight the judgment or atleast get it off of my credit? The debit was from FL, but I am now in GA, which is where the Judgment was placed.. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can take the judgment off the report. It'd stay on it for as good as seven years unless you make arrangements to satisfy it.

When the debt was past SOL why didn't you show up on the court date? You only had to prove that the debt is past SOL and the judge would have dropped the case against you. But since a judgment has already been placed, you can't get it removed.
