I was stupid and desperate at the same time. I will never make the same mistake again...never. How do I get out of this hell? I signed up with loan debt consolidation company for a monthly charge but they say there is nothing they can do to stop the calls at work. Any minute I I feel like my wages will be garnished.. This mess is affecting my health, my job, and my marriage. I don't sleep at night. I feel like a walking Zombie. I am physical and emotionally drained. I have no family I can turn to. I am sure $3,000 doesn't sound like alot of money to some people but it may as well be a million dollars. Is there a loan company, a true legidiate loan company that I can go to for unsecure credit?
Yesterday I received a voice mail from 323-207-7417. The voice mail advised that if I knew what was good for me I would return the call the very second I received the message. I could hardly understand what the woman was saying as her English was very poor to say the least. I call back, of course. She then advised me that they had hired an attorney and I was going to be charged with Fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, and opening a loan using fraudulent information. She said I would be going to jail. I asked her what country she was calling from and she said California. I asked for her attorney's name and which company she was representing. She then hung up on me. so I called the number back. The person hung up on me again!!!!
How can I stop the interest/late charges/etc from accumulating? I am lost and am at my wits end. Any advise would be appreciated. Is it really legal for people to talk like this?
You are not going to jail they are not going to charge you with
You are not going to jail they are not going to charge you with anything. The fact that they hung up on you should prove the fact that they are lieing to you. An no they can not talk to you that way.
If the company that you are paying a monethly fee to is not helping stop paying them.
Are these loan companies from the internet or did you walk into there stores?
have you checked with your state to see if they are even licensed to loan money?
Oh Yeah Breathe, everything will be all right.
i agree i am not sure if they are even legal.. i am not familiar

cashnet, and paydayone are legal.the other two are not.i get mixed signals as some people say that both pd one and cashnet work with them.then some peopole say that both are a pain to deal with.i would call both paydayone and cashnet.explain the situation.the other two can't do squat but call and as you have heard stupidly threaten as they can do none of what the lady said.
You Can Do This
It's as simple as this, really. Close your bank account. Open another one. Don't pay them anything. They'll harass you and threaten you, but that's really all they can do. Ignore them.
If at some point, you are financially able to pay them something, then do so. It's up to you. But under no circumstances give them any of your new banking information.
