Collection Company Lies

I need some advice on a collection company stating they will delete my account from my credit reports after I pay in full. They are refusing to send it to me in writing. I will not send them anything until I get a proper letter signed by them (Ad Astra Collections). I need case law for any case that has been handled by refusing to supply a consumer written notice of action to be taken for a payment. Any other REAL advice is helpful. Could this be considered fraud?

A letter from a CA on behalf of client wont cut it either if it is the OC tradelines you want deleted. They can only promise to delete their own tradelines.
