Calling my BOSS now- please how to handle

I know that this is one of their scare tactics but how do I get him to stop this? I'm thinking that ignoring Mr. M is the best bet but how long will he keep calling both me and my boss?
Please, anyone who has dealt with this guy, please share your experiences. I can almost deal with the "court" papers in the mail over the embarassment tactics.

I'm assuming this Mr. Mitchell is working for a collection agency? If so then I suggest sending out a c & d letter immediately!
I'm sure someone else will have a better idea of how to handle this Mr. Mitchell guy.

I resent the c&d letter yesterday....he isn't listening. I'm sick right now....I just dont' know how to handle the work situation. I can't believe I actually put my boss's name on the original app.
if he is not listening that calling your work is threatening you
if he is not listening that calling your work is threatening your job and he keeps calling than he is breaking the law. i am assuming your loan was not legal? their collector is not neither. i would tell your boss that you are dealing with fraud, perhaps your place of employment can block the calls? also report them to the attorney general, ftc, and even bbb (just to warn others)
which company is this?

This is a loan through Nationwide Cash. I had a loan through them last year for $400, on which I paid approx $1400. The current loan I have is $400 but I have only paid $200 on it. I feel that the gross overpayment on the first loan should be applied to the second.
From what I understand, this loan is illegal in my home state of IL. They have told me different, however...that they are governed by the laws of their state Delaware.
I'm so sick. I don't know if I should call him back and tell him to "bring it on" or just ignore him.

The only laws you need to worry about are your State's laws and if that makes them illegal in Illinois, then they are illegal.

i know its hard but you need to tell your boss that you are dealing with an illegal and fraudulent company and to please tell them not to call you or him at work. it usually helps a little if your boss will tell them you can have calls at work.

i agree, your boss will much more annoyed at the caller than you. this stuff happens in the work place more than you think. i would report this company asap though because what they are doing is not right.

This man is ignoring your cease and desist letter and needs to be reported to your state's attorney general ASAP. Think about it this way: if for some reason you lose your job over this, then you have the right to sue Nationwide Cash and this clown for lost wages.
