Are my debts, truly "only" my debts?

Your husband as authorized user has no legal liability on your cards...user is simply a user.

If you paid your cards under a settlement agreement, did you receive anything in writing? It is not uncommon for junk debt buyers to sell off remaining balances of previously settled debts.
