chase forgiveness

I had 3 accounts with scammers Campos/Hess-Kennedy and was so happy to hear Chase was forgiving the Chase accounts, along with WaMu and Providian. These just so happen to be the accounts I had enrolled in the debt settlement program. I now find out only my one account has been forgiven and the other 2 are no longer with Chase as they must have been sold off, but I have not received any written info from any collection agencies on the 2 other accounts. So now almost all of the money I had given to the scammers went to pay the 30% the receivership agreed to pay Chase. Anyone else out there having the same issue, or have any input as why I haven't heard from collection agencies yet? I thought it was all over and done with and was so relieved to have a new start and never get myself to the drowning in debt point again, only to find out I still have 2 large account somewhere out there.

Can't you investigate the matter with Chase? They may tell you the names of the companies that have your debts.
The collection companies may be bidding their time and would sue you just before the expiration of the SOL.

You should definitely call Chase and see what information you can get. It's not a good idea to stress out and just hope that it all goes away. See if you can deal with the matter before they get in touch with you.
let us know what you find out.

Thanks for input. I guess I don't want to go look for something I don't want to find, but it is so heavily hanging over my head.
