I'd seen in a prior post that you'd had some struggles with making the payments that payday one set up for you. I'm in the same situation. Can you tell me what, if anything, has happened to you regarding this situation so far? How long ago was this? Have you heard anything from them? Are they threatening legal action?

You might want to double check your contract, Payday One is usually legal in most states, they may be listed as an installment type of loan which would mean they wouldn't show up under the payday loan licensee data base, nor would they have to follow the payday lender laws. Double check your contract, if it's listed as an installment type of loan they wouldn't follow the payday loan laws.

I am aware of this, but the question with Payday One is are they functioning as a PDL or an installment lender - this makes all the difference in the world when trying to determine whether they are or are not legal in KY. There are different laws for PDL's and installment lenders. I actually thought all internet lending was illegal in KY and if all internet lending is illegal I'm wondering does that include both PDL's and internet installment lending?
