I am just about to close my account down....i have been stuck in finance fee only and am making no headway...as a single mom that's not good! Mine are internet...
Eastside lenders 300, paid 270 in interest
check n go online 500, paid 375
speedycash online 500, paid 375
cashnet 200, paid 100
mycashnow 300, paid 65.83

I have dd for job with my bank Woodforest...Horrible. I am having my dd to go onto a debit card that they should have no access to!I have previously had unauthorized charges on my checking account with WF and it took almost a month to get them off....also they play around with charges and i have incurred horrible NSF fees with them. Currently I am in the postive and going to go into the branch and shut it down. They will allow any and all charges to go through as I found out the hardway(not a pdl) just so they can rack up NSF charges that I pay pretty promptly....they think I'm a cash cow as it seems they are likely to side with the pdl since it will net them more fees and more of my money! should i also email them letter revoking wage assignment if any/ach authorizing? addresses?

Anyways, any help is appreciated! Thanks

Payday lenders must be licensed by your state, read the TX laws below:
http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/state_detail.cfm?id=TX
The licensee data base for payday lenders doesn't seem to be working but I'm pretty sure I already know who is legal and who isn't.
Checkngo is a legal lender, request an EPP (extended payment plan) , click the link below to read about the EPP, number 11.
http://www.cfsa.net/industry_best_practices.html
You must request an EPP BEFORE you default, at least one day before it's due. Check n Go is known to deny the EPP to other people so you will need to print out the EPP (link I gave you above) and take it into the store. They are members of the CFSA (Community Financial Services Association of America) which means they are suppose to abide by the CFSA'a best practices. The EPP works like this, th einterest stops and you pay it off in four seperate payments on each of your paydays. I am not certain about speedycash online so you might want to do a little research on them at this site. Just type their name into the search box located in the upper right hand corner of this forum and read what other members have said about them.

Is that Cashnet or CashNetUSA, there is a bigdifference because one is an illegal lender the other one is a CSO (Credit Service Organization), CSO's don't have to follow the payday lender laws and are usually perfectly legal in what they charge. CashNetUSA is a CSO, Cashnet is an illegal payday lender.
