I have agreed to a 30% settlement on my Bank of America account. The rep said I have to pay $600 by the 24th of Sept. to get this deal, and they will subtract the $600 from the total settlement offer. If I don't the offer will be void. I can pay the whole settlement offer on Oct.1 because I am borrowing the money, but will not have the $600 by Sept. 24. My question is, if I take the deal and don't make the Sept. 24 payment and it becomes void, do you think they would still give me the same deal if I offered the full amount on Oct 1? I'm at the charge off mark, but just a little short on the time frame for having the full amount.

i would be completely honest with them and upfront. tell them you dont have it till oct1. otherwise they may charge off soon as the deal expires. keep the communication open with them tell them you are borrowing the money. its better to be honest in this situation than not, atleast this way they know you are making a effort. good luck!
