Drowned in pay day loans

By the way, I am moving this to the payday loan help section.

I visited my bank and I was able to open a new account but since I have direct deposit and my pay check will be deposited this Friday they were not able to close the account until after my direct deposit goes through. The bank manager advise me to file a claim with the bank so that I can get reimbursed for the amounts the 3 companies not legal here in California have charge me as it is considered fraud, should I do this or just close the account after Friday? I am writing a letter of to all 3 PDL companies to stop making any charges on my account as they are not legal in California.

Ask the manager to place a hard debit block on that account until you can get things worked out.

The old one, I mean.

I asked my bank to place a ACH hold on my account as directed by the counselling company I went through, but they told me they can only block individual items for a fee. I ended up closing the account. If they did place an ACH hold on my account it would have caused more problems as I had car insurance, cable, and other bills automatically deducted from the account, so if you're in this boat you might just want to close the account so you don't have to keep up with paying regular bills manually.

Does anyone have the address for: 1) Impact Cash; 2) 500 Fast Cash; 3) Titan Group LLC I need to send letters to this companies to stop making charges in my bank account as they are illegal in my state
