Need more information Murphy. Off hand I can say you should have had the settlement in writing with an agreement that the debt is settled IN FULL, meaning no remainder amount is due and that it will not be sold or collected upon.

I am fighting them right now because they are the worst ever and they are thieves and post false charges against your account on your credit file. I hired Lexingto Law Services to fight them and if this doesnt work i am filing a lawsuit against them. Pinnacle Credit Services are thieves. They are hired for a small amount from the original creditor and then they began tacking on huge amounts to the loan you had you were unable to pay the creditor and place that entry on your credit report and start charging you monthy interest on the loan and before you know it you have this large amount of debt in the thousands which is illegal and against the credit laws. The only time this can be done is if they have taken you to court and you have a judgement. But when there is no judgement they cannot do this they can only collect what you owe the creditor and after the statue of limitations is up on the loan they cannot do this. PINNACLE CREDIT SERVICES IS A FRAUDULENT COLLECTION AGENCY AND THIEVES AND SOON THEY WILL BE BROUGHT DOWN. ANYONE HAVING CHARGES WITH PINNACLE CREDIT SERVICES HIRE A LAWYER AND FILE A LAWSUIT TO HAVE THEM REMOVED FROM YOUR CREDIT REPORT.
