in the past i have used payday loans here an there responsibly, always paying them back way before it got to the 4 renew times. i dont know how i got to this point, but i kept having to take out more to cover my regular bills and then now its the point where i cant cover the interest charges for the loans, much less my bills. i am not in default on any of them as of yet and am thinking about closing my bank account on monday and transferring my direct deposit into another bank account i have (seperate bank). i have no problems paying back what i owe since i did borrow, but i need to work something out and i am scared that they are going to start calling my references and my work if i cant pay them back as quick as they want. any advice would be much appreciated.

also, two questions...if i use a consoliation company, will the sharks be able to call my work? and secondly, when im in the 'payoff' process with a consolidtion company will it be reported negatively on my credit report? what repercussions if any can come from using a consolidation company? has anyone used Oak View Law before?

this is what i have:

Tremont Financial $400

M1Y Direct $250

500Fast Cash $300 still owed i think..

Salaryfast $200

Magnum Cash loan was $780, and they break it down to 4 paymetns of $303...ive already paid one of them

Cash Advance Network $350

Paragon Funding $300

PaydayLoan Yes $350 i think

instantloansnow $600

star cash processing (SCP) $300

Ten dollar payday $400

Nationwide cash (prob @ $400, couldntlook it up online..calling tomorrow)

United cash loans $300

Fastcash-advance $300

wow. i am appalled just reading my own email. with that said, i need to take contol so any advice is much appreciated...

Are all of these Internet loans? You have a lot of lenders who aren't licensed in the state of FL, this means obtaining a consolidation loan won't help you because they will NEVER be satisfied with what you pay them! The best thing you can do for yourself right now is close your account asap! I will return shortly, I need to do a little research on these lenders. Check back for my reply in awhile. Meanwhile, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

Yes, they MUST be licensed in the state of FL to lend legally to FL residents. Close your account because now that they have your account number it will never be safe. You can pay them at your leisure when you can afford it. Only the principal amount though, that is all you would owe them.

You are soooo helpful.

Now in that thread with the letter, you said that they may still harrass you with calls. if they call my work are they allowed to speak to anyone but me or discuss the situation? and what about the references i gave them? will they call them too even if they CAN reach me?

and if i send the letter and they refuse to cooperate, can they put negative marks on my credit report?

thanks for your help...im sorry if this is redundant, but i just want to make sure i dont make a mistake and make this a worse mess than it already is...

They may or may not call you at work, or your references. There really isn't much you can do about it besides hang up immediately. They didn't follow the law to begin with so they aren't about to now. Just tell your employer there was some fraudulent activity on your personal account and you may or may not receive harassing calls. Make sure your account is closed BEFORE you send out any letters.

They won't honor the letters and definitely won't agree with you, you'll just need to remain strong and lay your terms down.
