This is on my credit report:

Status Details:
This account is scheduled to continue on record until May 2010.

I am trying to figure out the month of last payment.
Please tell me if that means I defaulted,in May 2003? Or does this date indicate that my last payment was December 2002? or, October 2003?

When the date of last payment passes, with no payment, then account is 30 days late. Seven years later, in the same month, the account is removed from credit report?

If last payment was May 2003, in June 2003 the account is 30 days late. Then, in June 2010 the account is removed from credit report?

Some where I read accounts were listed 7 1/2 years on a credit report. So, I am confused.

It is 7 years from the actual date of last activity (delinquent or not). Some credit reports actually have the month and year the negative information drops off. Like Kfstaff stated Transunion actually lists it for you. However you can count on the information dropping off after the final day of that month. For example, if your drop date is listed as July 2010, then count on it dropping off at the end of July rather than the first day. At least that is what I was told by Equifax and Experian. If it is still on the report after July then dispute it and it will be removed due to 7 year expiration.

Some credit bureas have the actual day of the month the last activity was reported in there systems, so I would call and get a definate answer for self knowledge.
