I had a dealing with the company and they are out of the US and belief they do not have to abide by US law. The first line in the loan disclosure reads as follows:

Loan Disclosures

JURISDICTION

The transactions related to loans will be deemed to have taken place in the offices of StarAdvance.com and according to the laws of Republic of Panama, regardless of where you may be viewing or accessing this site.

Please becareful what you are signing with any company and hopefully you won't have to. With company and by electronically signing the loan documents, you are giving up any protection that the US laws have to offer since you agreed that this transaction took place in Panama. If you get in the trap like I did, it will be a long battle. Oddly enough though, they do have a branch office somewhere in the US.
