How much difference does it make when items are removed?

I disputed two items on my credit report and I found out today they have both been removed. Can anyone tell me how much difference this will make in my credit score?
Also, I have a number of items that were under collection that have been paid off. It states they are paid and the balanice is "0" but they are still showing. Is there any way to get these removed?

contact who you paid on those,and negotiate a PAY FOR DELETE.off
